Conifer
Conifer, that beautiful and unincorporated town up 285 in Jefferson County began life back in the 1860s as Bradford Junction, a stop along the old stage route to South Park. The railroad, of course, did away with the need for stage stops and the town kind of dwindled, but it hung on as a lovely place to live. It began being called Conifer, obviously because of the surrounding trees, in the 1920s and as Denver has grown over the years so too has Conifer. Because of the redevelopment and widening of 285 in recent decades, Conifer has become an address of choice for commuters, and it has also found a renaissance in business development, mostly retail, for the growing population of the area.
Allstar Electrical has done quite a bit of both commercial and residential work in the Conifer area as development has proceeded, and we love going up there whenever we can.
